The TritonFlash Batteries have an overheat protection circuit to prevent damage to the unit. Once the battery cools to a safe temperature, it will work fine, usually just a few minutes. If you are in an environment where you are doing rapid shooting at high power, this is more likely the cause, rather than the ambient temperature. If you have a spare battery handy, you can quickly change the battery in the module with your spare & it will work fine, while the other battery cools.
